Morad Bahramian from Samirom joined the nationwide protests on November 16, 2022, and was killed by direct fire from government forces in front of his daughter. Morad, who was the father of three daughters, had said before joining the protests, "I am going to the streets because for 44 years we cannot say that this life is not our right."
On the 10th of December 1401, when the forces of the Islamic Republic attacked the house of Murad Bahramian, one of the victims of the recent protests, to arrest his brothers, the neighbors rushed into the street and shouted to save them. Some people went to the local mosque and asked for help from the mosque speaker.
مراد بهرامیان اهل سمیرم ۲۵ آبان ۱۴۰۱به اعتراضات سراسری پیوست که با شلیک مستقیم نیروهای حکومتی جلوی چشم دخترش به قتل رسید. مراد که پدر سه دختر بود، قبل از ملحق شدن به تظاهرات گفته بود «به خیابان می روم چرا که ۴۴ سال است نمی توانیم بگوییم این زندگی، حق ما نیست.»
دهم دی ۱۴۰۱، هنگامی که نیروهای جمهوری اسلامی به خانه ی مراد بهرامیان از کشته شدگان اعتراضات اخیر حمله کردند تا برادرانش را بازداشت کنند همسایه ها به داخل خیابان ریخته و فریاد زدند تا آنها را نجات دهند. چند نفر از مردم هم به مسجد محل رفته و از بلندگوی مسجد از مردم کمک خواستند.
