On 14 September 2023, Moeid Saedi and Rizan Saedi, residents of Sanandaj, the capital of Kurdistan Province, were arrested by security forces in the city and taken to an undisclosed location. Their arrest followed a raid by security forces on a memorial ceremony held for those who lost their lives during the nationwide protests of 2022 at Behesht Mohammadi in Sanandaj. The two individuals were later released on bail amounting to five billion rials.
Sarina Saedi, born in 2007 and a resident of Sanandaj, sustained severe head injuries from baton strikes by security forces during the nationwide protests on 26 October 2022. She succumbed to a brain injury a day later in hospital.
Previously, on 9 June 2023, Hashem Saedi, the father of Sarina Saedi, was arrested by security forces while returning from a memorial for the victims of the 2022 protests held at the Aichi Cemetery in Saqqez and the Bukan Cemetery. He was taken to a detention centre, underwent interrogation and prosecution, and was then transferred to Bukan Prison, where he was held in limbo. He was released on 20 June 2023 after posting bail of 100 million tomans.
On 3 July 2023, during the commencement of legal proceedings by Branch 101 of the Criminal Court 2 in Bukan, he was sentenced to six months and 15 days of imprisonment and 40 lashes for disrupting public order.
روز پنج شنبه ۲۳ شهریورماه ١۴٠٢ معید ساعدی و ریزان ساعدی ساکن شهر سنندج مرکز استان کردستان توسط نیروهای امنیتی در آن شهر بازداشت و به مکان نامعلومی منتقل شدند.
بازداشت ریزان ساعدی و معید ساعدی در پی یورش نیروهای امنیتی به مراسم یادبودی که برای جان باختگان اعتراضات سراسری ۱۴۰۱ در بهشت محمدی سنندج برگزار شده بود صورت گرفت.
این ۲ شهروند پس از بازداشت به مکان نامعلومی منتقل شدند. آنها بعد تر با سندی بە مبلغ ٥ میلیاردی آزاد شده بودند.
سارینا ساعدی متولد: ۱۳۸۶ اهل سنندج در تاریخ ۴ آبان ماه ١۴٠١ در جریان اعتراضات سراسری بر اثر ضرب و شتم و وارد آوردن باتوم از سوی نیروهای امنیتی از ناحیه سر به شدت آسیب دید و بر اثر ضربه مغزی یک روز بعد در بیمارستان جان باخت.
پیش از این هم هاشم ساعدی پدر سازینا ساعدی در تاریخ ۱۹ خرداد ماه ۱۴۰۲ هنگام بازگشت از مراسم یادبود جمعی از جان باختگان اعتراضات سراسری ۱۴۰۱ که در آرامستان آیچی شهرستان سقز و آرامستان بوکان برگزار شده بود توسط نیروهای امنیتی بازداشت و پس از انتقال به بازداشتگاه و طی مراحل بازجویی و سپس بازپرسی در دادسرا سپس به زندان شهرستان بوکان منتقل و در بلاتکلیفی محبوس شده بود و در تاریخ ۳۰ خرداد ماه ۱۴۰۲ با تودیع وثیقه ای به مبلغ ۱۰۰ میلیون تومان آزاد شد.
با آغاز مراحل دادرسی در تاریخ۱۲ تیر ماه ۱۴۰۲ توسط شعبه ۱۰۱ دادگاه کیفری ۲ شهرستان بوکان از بابت اتهام اخلال در نظم عمومی به ۶ ماه و ۱۵ روز حبس تعزیری و ۴۰ ضربه شلاق محکوم شد.
