کاوه احمدزاده، زندانی سیاسی محبوس در زندان بوکان، بر اثر ایست قلبی جان باخت. گزارش ها حاکی از آن است که مسئولان زندان نسبت به وخامت حال او بی اعتنایی کرده و از انتقال به موقع وی به مراکز درمانی خودداری کرده بودند. پیکر این زندانی سیاسی برای کالبدشکافی به پزشکی قانونی ارومیه منتقل شد. در 17 آذر 1404، پیکر وی بدون ارائه توضیح درباره علت دقیق مرگ به خانواده تحویل داده شد. همچنین گزارش شده است که مسئولان زندان با تاخیری حدود 24 ساعت خبر درگذشت او را به خانواده اطلاع دادند. کاوه احمدزاده به دلیل اتهامات سیاسی در زندان بوکان محبوس بود و پیشتر نیز به دلیل فعالیت های سیاسی خود سابقه تحمل حبس های بلندمدت را داشته است.

Reports indicate that prison authorities neglected the severity of his condition and failed to transfer him to medical facilities in a timely manner. His body was sent to the Urmia Forensic Medicine for an autopsy. On 17 Azar 1404, his body was handed over to his family without an explanation regarding the exact cause of death. It has also been reported that prison officials delayed informing the family of his passing by approximately 24 hours. Kaveh Ahmadzadeh was imprisoned in Bukan due to political charges and had previously served long-term sentences for his political activities.
