رضا قنبری ۱۷ ساله در جریان اعتراضات مردمی محله جعفرآباد کرمانشاه در تاریخ ۱۳ دی ۱۴۰۴ با تیراندازی نیروهای سپاه پاسداران کشته شد.
شبکه حقوق بشر کردستان به نقل از یک منبع مطلع نوشت: «رضا قنبری نوجوانی کارگر بود که در اعتراضات مردمی محله جعفرآباد کرمانشاه حضور داشت و حوالی ساعت ۷ عصر روز شنبه ۱۳ دی ۱۴۰۴ در خیابان ارتش این محله هنگام یورش نیروهای سپاه پاسداران به معترضان از ناحیه پشت و پهلو هدف گلوله جنگی قرار گرفت و درجا جان باخت.»
در اعلامیه ترحیم منتشر شده از سوی خانواده زمان و محل خاکسپاری روز دوشنبه ۱۵ دی در روستای «جبارآباد سفلی» منطقه بیلوار از توابع شهرستان کرمانشاه اعلام شده است.
نیروهای امنیتی همچنین خانواده رضا قنبری را تحت فشار قرار داده و تهدید کرده اند تا فرزند خود را بسیجی معرفی کنند و کشته شدن او را به معترضان نسبت دهند اما خانواده از پذیرش این خواسته خودداری کرده اند.
