در جریان تیراندازی نیروهای مسلح امنیتی به سوی معترضان در محله جعفرآباد کرمانشاه رسول کدیوریان به همراه برادرش رضا کشته شد.
گفته می شود رسول کدیوریان ۱۷ ساله و رضا کدیوریان ۲۰ ساله بوده اند و هر دو کارگر بوده اند اما سن دقیق آن ها هنوز به طور مستقل تایید نشده است.
بر اساس روایت یک منبع مطلع شامگاه شنبه ۱۳ دی ۱۴۰۴ و در جریان اعتراضات مردمی در خیابان ارتشِ محله جعفرآباد نیروهای امنیتی به سمت معترضان شلیک کردند. در نتیجه این تیراندازی رسول کدیوریان در محل کشته شد و رضا کدیوریان به شدت زخمی و به بیمارستان طالقانی کرمانشاه منتقل شد.
طبق گزارش های تکمیلی رضا کدیوریان پس از انتقال به بیمارستان در بخش مراقبت های ویژه ICU بستری و در وضعیت کما قرار گرفت اما عصر یکشنبه ۱۴ دی ۱۴۰۴ به دلیل شدت جراحات جان باخت و پیکرش به سردخانه بیمارستان منتقل شد.

He was murdered by the security forces on 13 Dey 1404 (3 January 2026) during the Iranian year 1404 (2025/26) nationwide uprising.
During a shooting by armed security forces towards protesters in the Jafarabad neighborhood of Kermanshah, Rasoul Kadiourian and his brother Reza were killed. It is reported that Rasoul Kadiourian was 17 years old and Reza Kadiourian was 20 years old, and both were workers, although their exact ages have not yet been independently verified.
On the evening of Saturday, January 3, 2026, during public protests on Artesh Street in the Jafarabad neighborhood, security forces opened fire on the protesters. As a result of this shooting, Rasoul Kadiourian was killed on the spot, and Reza Kadiourian was severely injured and transferred to Taleghani Hospital in Kermanshah.
According to additional reports, Reza Kadiourian was admitted to the ICU in critical condition after being transferred to the hospital and fell into a coma. However, on the afternoon of Sunday, January 4, 2026, he succumbed to his injuries, and his body was moved to the hospital morgue.
