بیژن جانفشان کنشگر ملی و آزادی خواه در روز چهارشنبه ۸ بهمن ۱۴۰۴ در پی یورش نیروهای امنیتی به منزل شخصی اش در تهران بازداشت و به مکان نامعلومی منتقل شده است.
در جریان این یورش ماموران امنیتی برخی از وسایل شخصی او از جمله رایانه تجهیزات الکترونیکی و دست نوشته هایش را ضبط کرده اند. تا لحظه تنظیم این بیانیه هیچ اطلاع رسمی و شفافی درباره دلایل بازداشت نهاد مسئول وضعیت جسمی و محل نگهداری وی در دست نیست.
