Mi'ad Sadeh-Mirinajad, a psychology student who had opened his dream venture "Cafe Saadi" just two months prior, was killed on 8 January 2023. He was struck by a direct bullet from the security forces of the Islamic Republic. The incident occurred at Shohada Square in Ilam, where his mother risked her life to protect him and still bears the scars of the gunshot wound.
According to available information, the bullet, fired from a Kalashnikov rifle, hit the chest area, causing fatal damage to his lungs and heart.
