Fariba Hosseini, a dentist and civil activist, was arrested in 2025 due to her protest activities. She was sentenced to five years in prison for assembly and collusion, and one year for propaganda against the regime. The court acquitted her of the charge of insulting the leadership.
Fariba Hosseini has been sentenced to nine years and nine months in prison by the Revolutionary Court of Shiraz. This sentence was issued by the First Branch of the Revolutionary Court of Shiraz on 7 July 2026. She was convicted of assembly and collusion to commit crimes against the internal and external security of the country, insulting the leader of the Islamic Republic, and propaganda against the regime.
The court also sentenced the civil activist to passport cancellation, a travel ban, and a prohibition on online activities for two years.
فریبا حسینی، دندانپزشک و فعال مدنی، به دلیل فعالیت های اعتراضی در سال 1404 بازداشت شده بود. او به اتهام اجتماع و تبانی به پنج سال حبس و به اتهام تبلیغ علیه نظام به یک سال زندان محکوم شد. دادگاه او را از اتهام توهین به رهبری تبرئه کرد.
فریبا حسینی از سوی دادگاه انقلاب شیراز به ۹ سال و ۹ ماه زندان محکوم شده است. این حکم از سوی شعبه اول دادگاه انقلاب شیراز در تاریخ ۱۶ تیر ۱۴۰۵ صادر شده و او به اتهام اجتماع و تبانی برای ارتکاب جرم علیه امنیت داخلی و خارجی کشور، توهین به رهبر جمهوری اسلامی و تبلیغ علیه نظام به ۹ سال و ۹ ماه حبس تعزیری محکوم شده است.
دادگاه همچنین این فعال مدنی را به ابطال گذرنامه، منع خروج از کشور و ممنوعیت فعالیت در فضای مجازی به مدت ۲ سال محکوم کرده است.
