Mostafa Abdollahabadi disappeared in Mashhad on January 10, 2026, after participating in the January protests. After 8 days of continuous searching, his body was found in Behesht Reza on January 18.
On 10 January 2026, an individual was killed in the area near the beginning of Moallem Boulevard or Emamat Street in Mashhad. The person had disappeared after the last phone call with family, and reports suggest that they were targeted either during protests or in front of their home. There are also reports of gunfire by forces or the impact of a sharp or hard object. Following the family's inquiries, the body was identified and handed over at the Behesht Reza morgue in Mashhad on 18 January 2026. The deceased was a father of two children, aged 4 and 10 years old, and worked as an employee at the Astan Quds Razavi printing house.
