Reports indicate that Habibollah Karimi has been released from Sanandaj prison on bail.
On the evening of 17 May 2023, Abdollah Kheirabadi, Shadman Abdi, and Habibollah Karimi, along with five others, were arrested by security forces at Farshid Abdollahi's residence in Sanandaj.
It has also been reported that on 19 July 2023, Habibollah Karimi, a labour activist residing in Sanandaj, was tried by the First Branch of the Sanandaj Revolutionary Court and sentenced to three months of imprisonment, which could be converted to a fine of 12 million tomans.

در شامگاه 27 اردیبهشت 1402، عبدالله خیرآبادی، شادمان عبدی و حبیب الله کریمی به همراه پنج نفر دیگر توسط نیروهای امنیتی در منزل فرشید عبدالهی در سنندج بازداشت شدند.
همچنین گزارش شده است که در 28 تیر 1402، حبیب الله کریمی، فعال کارگری ساکن سنندج، توسط شعبه اول دادگاه انقلاب سنندج محاکمه و به تحمل 3 ماه حبس تعزیری که به پرداخت 12 میلیون تومان جزای نقدی قابل تبدیل است، محکوم شده است.
