Sepehr Beiranvand, born on December 5, 2003, was one of the protesters in Iran's "Woman, Life, Freedom" uprising. He was killed by a direct gunshot from the Islamic Republic of Iran's forces while writing slogans on one of the streets of Khorramabad on November 9, 2022.
He worked alongside his studies and had a great interest in painting, boxing, and wrestling. He planned to take the university entrance exam this year to continue his studies in graphic design.
On the afternoon of November 9, Sepehr announced a call to action on his Instagram page, inviting his followers to join the protests at Shaghayegh Park. While writing slogans in the Chaharrah Tayeb neighborhood of Khorramabad, police officers attacked him and two others. He entered a nearby house and fled to the rooftop. According to close sources, one of the police officers shot him, hitting his neck, which caused him to fall into the yard. Security forces quickly closed off the street, collected surveillance cameras, and transferred his body to an unknown location.
Security forces did not allow Sepehr Beiranvand's family to bury his body in Khorramabad. When faced with the family's insistence, they removed the body from the forensic department and buried it in the Deh Sefid cemetery in the Zagheh district without informing his family.
سپهر بیرانوند متولد ۱۴ آذر۱۳۸۲ یکی از معترضان خیزش "زن زندگی آزادی" ایران بود که در حین شعار نویسی در یکی از خیابان های خرم آباددر تاریخ ۱۸ آبان ۱۴۰۱ با شلیک مستقیم گلوله جنگی نیروهای جمهوری اسلامی ایران کشته شد.
او همراه با تحصیل کار می کرد. علاقه زیادی به نقاشی بوکس و کشتی داشت. او تصمیم داشت امسال در کنکور شرکت کند و در گرافیک ادامه تحصیل دهد.
سپهر عصر روز ۱۸ آبان در صفحهٔ اینستاگرام خود فراخوان نشر داد و از فالوورهای خود در پارک شقایق برای اعتراضات دعوت می کند. در محله چهارراه طیب شهر خرم آباد در حال شعار نویسی بودند که مأموران نیروی انتظامی به او و دو نفر دیگر حمله می کنند. او وارد یکی از خانه های محل می شود و به سمت پشت بام فرار می کند. به گفتهٔ نزدیکان یکی از مأموران نیروی انتظامی به سمت او شلیک می کند که به گردن او اصابت می کند و موجب سقوط او به حیاط می شود. نیروهای امنیتی سریعاً خیابان را می بندند و دوربین های مداربسته را جمع می کنند و پیکر را به محل نامعلومی انتقال می دهند.
نیروهای امنیتی به خانواده سپهر بیرانوند اجازه ندادند که جنازه او در خرم آباد دفن شود و وقتی با اصرار خانواده او مواجه شدند، جنازه را از پزشکی قانونی خارج کرده و بدون اطلاع خانواده او، در قبرستان ده سفید بخش زاغه دفن کردند.
