On January 19, 2022, two young men from Ahvaz, Amin Delfi, aged 18, and Ali Kaabi, aged 22, were killed by direct gunfire from security forces in the Guriyeh area of the Shuaibiyah district in Shushtar County.
These two individuals were shot by security forces while attending the funeral of a resident of the Guriyeh area.
Amin Delfi, son of Majid, was killed instantly by the gunfire, and Ali Kaabi, son of Ubaid, was severely injured. After spending 24 hours in the ICU, he unfortunately passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022.
Following the deaths of these two Ahvazi citizens in Guriyeh, residents of the area gathered in the streets on the evening of Thursday, January 20, and clashed with security forces.

به گزارش کانون حقوق بشر ایران در تاریخ ۲۹دیماه ۱۴۰۰، دو جوان اهواز ی به نام های امین دلفی ۱۸ ساله و على كعبى، ۲۲ ساله در منطقه گوریه واقع در بخش شعیبیه شهرستان شوشتر با شلیک مستقیم ماموران امنیتی به قتل رسیدند.
این دو شهروند در حالیکه در مراسم تشییع جنازه یکی از ساکنان منطقه گوریه شرکت کرده بودند، مورد اصابت گلوله های نيروهاى امنیتی قرار گرفتند.
امین دلفی فرزند مجید بر اثر اصابت گلوله در جا کشته شد و علی کعبی فرزند عبید به شدت زخمی شد که پس از گذراندن ۲۴ ساعت در ICU امروز پنجشنبه، ۳۰دیماه ۱۴۰۰ متاسفانه جان خود را از دست داد.
در پی کشته شدن اين دوشهروند اهوازی در گوریه، شهروندان این منطقه در شامگاه پنجشنبه ۳۰ دیماه، در خيابان ها تجمع کرده و با نیروهای امنیتی درگیر شدند.
