On 4 August 2026, it was reported that two Kurdish Kermanshah citizens from Bojnord, named Abolfazl Eskandarian and Saman Eskandarian, who had been arrested during the protests in December 2025, were sentenced by the Revolutionary and Criminal Courts of Bojnord on various charges. Each individual received a sentence of two years and one day of imprisonment, 74 lashes, and a fine of 22 million tomans.
The Revolutionary Court of Bojnord convicted them in one case on charges of propaganda against the regime and assembly and collusion against national security. In another case, the Bojnord Criminal Court found them guilty of disrupting public order and peace and disobedience towards officers during the performance of their duties.
The verdicts related to these cases were verbally communicated to them in early July 2026. Abolfazl Eskandarian and Saman Eskandarian were arrested on 4 January 2026 when security forces raided their home without presenting a judicial warrant and transferred them to an undisclosed location. After four days of detention in an unknown location under harsh conditions, they were moved to Bojnord prison and eventually released temporarily on bail on 3 February 2026 after one month of detention.
During their detention, the two individuals were denied access to legal counsel and family visits.
در تاریخ 13 مرداد 1405، گزارش شده است که دو شهروند کرد کرمانج اهل بجنورد، به نام های ابوالفضل اسکندریان و سامان اسکندریان، که در جریان اعتراضات دی ماه 1404 بازداشت شده بودند، به اتهام های مختلف توسط دادگاه های انقلاب و کیفری شهرستان بجنورد محکوم شدند. هر یک از این افراد به 2 سال و یک روز حبس تعزیری، 74 ضربه شلاق و 22 میلیون تومان جریمه نقدی محکوم شده اند.
این دو نفر در یک پرونده توسط دادگاه انقلاب شهرستان بجنورد به اتهام های تبلیغ علیه نظام و اجتماع و تبانی علیه امنیت ملی محکوم شدند. همچنین در پرونده ای دیگر، دادگاه کیفری شهرستان بجنورد آن ها را به اتهام های اخلال در نظم و آسایش عمومی و تمرد نسبت به مأموران حین انجام وظیفه محکوم کرده است.
احکام مربوط به این پرونده ها اوایل تیرماه 1405 به صورت شفاهی به آن ها ابلاغ شده است. ابوالفضل اسکندریان و سامان اسکندریان در تاریخ 14 دی 1404 با یورش نیروهای امنیتی به منزلشان و بدون ارائه حکم قضایی بازداشت و به مکان نامعلومی منتقل شدند. پس از چهار روز بازداشت در مکانی نامعلوم و تحت شرایط سخت، به زندان بجنورد منتقل شدند و در نهایت پس از یک ماه بازداشت، در تاریخ 14 بهمن 1404 با تودیع وثیقه به صورت موقت آزاد شدند.
در طول مدت بازداشت، این دو نفر از حق دسترسی به وکیل و ملاقات با خانواده محروم بوده اند.
