Artin Rostami, a native of a village in the Sanandaj area, was arrested by security and law enforcement forces in Tehran during the nationwide protests in the winter of 2025–2026. After undergoing interrogation and being informed of the charges against him, he was released on bail.
He was subsequently tried by a judge of the Tehran Revolutionary Court and sentenced to six months in prison on the charge of “propaganda against the regime.”
On Sunday, September 6, 2026, he was arrested to begin serving his prison sentence and transferred to Tehran Great Prison.

وی توسط قاضی شعبه دادگاه انقلاب تهران، محاکمه و از بابت اتهام «فعالیت تبلیغی علیه نظام» به تحمل ۶ ماه حبس تعزیری محکوم شد.
وی روز یکشنبه ۱۵ شهریور ماه ۱۴۰۵، برای تحمل دوران حبس تعزیری اش، بازداشت و به زندان تهران بزرگ منتقل شد.
