Mino Majidi was a Kurdish Yarsan lady living in Kermanshah city in Iran, who was killed in the 2022 uprising of Iran on the September 31st in Kermanshah by gunfire from the officers of the Islamic regime.
Mino Majidi was born on July 11, 1960 in GhasreShirin city in a Kurdish family following the Yari religion. She then settled in the city of Kermanshah. Mino Majidi was a teacher, but after the Islamic Republic of Iran came to power and during the cultural revolution, she was purged from teacher training. In the 1390s, she volunteered to coach table tennis for the deaf and hard of hearing. Mino Majidi was married and mother of three children (2 girls and 1 boy).
Mino Majidi participated in a rally that was organized on September 31st 2022 to protest the killing of Mahsa Amini, the mandatory hijab and the government of the Islamic Republic. Before participating in the protests, she told her family: "If I don't go to protest, who will?" On the evening of September 31st 2022, between 19:45 and 20:00 (local time), she was hit by a bullet from the security forces of the Islamic regime in the head area near the beginning of Vahdat Blvd. According to her daughter, 167 bullets were shot at her. She died on the way to the hospital.
The next day, Kermanshah prosecutor Shahram Karmi confirmed the news that 2 people were killed and 25 injured in the protest rallies in this city. He claimed that the murder of these citizens "occurred by antirevolution agents" and "these people were targeted with nonorganizational weapons."
At first, the security forces refused to hand over Mino Majidi's body to his family. But then the body was handed over to the family and two days later the funeral ceremony was held in the presence of people.
The funeral ceremony of Mino Majidi was held on Thursday, October 2nd 2022 at 10:00 am in Minaabad cemetery of Kermanshah and turned into an antigovernment demonstration. Attendees at Mino Majidi's funeral chanted the slogan "Woman, Life, Freedom" in the Kurdish language, showing their protest against Mino Majidi's murder and their solidarity with the protests. Also, some of the women present at the ceremony turned their scarves as a sign of protest. The 22yearold daughter of Mino Majidi shaved her head as a sign of protest against the Islamic Republic and her mother's mourning, took off her hijab, and published a picture on Twitter next to her grave in Minaabad Cemetery, Kermanshah, which was reposted a lot.
The 40th ceremony of Mino Majidi was held with a large number of people attending her grave and chanting the slogan "Woman, Life, Freedom".
مینو مجیدی بانوی کُرد یارسان ساکن شهر کرمانشاه در ایران بود که در خیزش ۱۴۰۱ ایران در روز ۲۹ شهریور در کرمانشاه با شلیک گلوله مأموران سپاهی رژیم اسلامی کشته شد.
مینو مجیدی در روز ۲۰ تیر ۱۳۳۹ در شهرستان قصر شیرین در خانواده ای کُرد و پیرو دین یاری به دنیا آمد. او سپس در شهر کرمانشاه ساکن شد. مینو مجیدی، معلم بود، اما پس از به قدرت رسیدن جمهوری اسلامی ایران و در جریان انقلاب فرهنگی از تربیت معلم پاکسازی شد. او در دهۀ ۱۳۷۰ به صورت داوطلب به مربیگری تنیس روی میز برای ناشنوایان و کم شنوایان پرداخت. مینو مجیدی متأهل و مادر سه فرزند (۲ دختر و ۱ پسر) بود.
مینو مجیدی در تجمعی که در روز ۲۹ شهریور ۱۴۰۱ برای اعتراض به کشته شدن مهسا امینی، حجاب اجباری و حکومت جمهوری اسلامی برپا شده بود شرکت کرد. او پیش از حضور در اعتراضات به خانواده اش گفته بود: «اگر من نروم اعتراض کنم، چه کسی برود؟» او در شامگاه ۲۹ شهریور ۱۴۰۱ بین ساعت ۱۹:۴۵ تا ۲۰:۰۰ در خیابان سی متری دوم کرمانشاه، در نزدیکی ابتدای بلوار وحدت از ناحیهٔ سر هدف شلیک مستقیم گلولۀ نیروهای امنیتی جمهوری اسلامی قرار گرفت و کشته شد. به گفتۀ دخترش، ۱۶۷ گلولۀ ساچمه ای به او شلیک شد. او در راه بیمارستان درگذشت.
روز بعد شهرام کرمی، دادستان کرمانشاه در گفت وگو با رسانه های دولتی، خبر کشته شدن ۲ نفر و مجروحیت ۲۵ نفر در تجمعات اعتراضی این شهر را تأیید کرد. وی مدعی شد که قتل این شهروندان «توسط عوامل ضدانقلاب رخ داده» و «این افراد با سلاح های غیرسازمانی هدف قرار گرفته اند.»
نیروهای امنیتی در ابتدا از تحویل دادن جسد مینو مجیدی به خانواده اش خودداری کردند. اما سپس جسد به خانواده تحویل داده شد و دو روز بعد مراسم خاکسپاری با حضور مردم برگزار شد.
مراسم خاکسپاری مینو مجیدی در روز پنج شنبه ۳۱ شهریور ۱۴۰۱ ساعت ۱۰ صبح در گورستان میناآباد کرمانشاه برگزار و به یک تظاهرات ضدحکومتی تبدیل شد. حاضران در مراسم خاکسپاری مینو مجیدی، با سر دادن شعار «زن، زندگی، آزادی» به زبان کُردی، اعتراض خود را به قتل مینو مجیدی و همراهی خود را با اعتراضات نشان دادند. همچنین برخی از زنان حاضر در مراسم به نشانهٔ اعتراض روسری های خود را چرخاندند.
دختر ۲۲ سالهٔ مینو مجیدی به نشانهٔ اعتراض به جمهوری اسلامی و سوگواری مادرش موی سر خود را تراشید، حجاب از سر برداشت و در کنار آرامگاه وی در گورستان میناآباد کرمانشاه تصویری را در توئیتر منتشر کرد که بسیار بازنشر شد.
مراسم چهلم مینو مجیدی با حضور گسترده مردم بر مزار او و سردادن شعار «زن، زندگی، آزادی» برگزار شد.
