On Wednesday, July 26, 2023, Hadi Atashbar, born in 1977, son of Mohammad Ali, a former political prisoner currently detained without a clear status in Ward 16 of Vakilabad Prison in Mashhad, was sentenced in his new case. After being tried in Branch 7 of the Mashhad Revolutionary Court, located in the capital of Khorasan Razavi Province, under the presidency of Judge Yazdankhah, he received a total sentence of 5 years and 6 months in prison and a 2-year travel ban.
According to the verdict issued by the head of Branch 7 of the Mashhad Revolutionary Court, which was communicated to Hadi Atashbar in Vakilabad Prison on July 26, 2023, he was sentenced to 3 years in prison for "acting against national security through membership in a group or gathering with the intent to disrupt national security," 1 year and 8 months for "insulting the leadership," and 10 months for "propaganda against the regime," along with a 2-year travel ban.
A source close to Hadi Atashbar reported that the notification of this sentence was communicated to Mr. Atashbar via video conference by the head of the office of Branch 7 of the Mashhad Revolutionary Court on the morning of Wednesday, July 26, 2023.
It is noteworthy that Hadi Atashbar was arrested on February 14, 2023, by security forces at his home after a search and confiscation of items such as his mobile phone, passport, birth certificate, and national ID card. He was then transferred to a secret detention center of the Mashhad Intelligence Department. After completing the interrogation process, he was moved to the quarantine ward of Vakilabad Prison in Mashhad on February 20, 2023, and is currently held in Ward 16 of that prison.
Some time later, Hadi Atashbar's interrogation and charge briefing session was held in Branch 903 of the Mashhad Revolutionary Prosecutor's Office. He was charged by Investigator Soleimani, and after the indictment was prepared, his case with charges of "acting against national security through membership in a group or gathering with the intent to disrupt national security," "insulting the leadership," and "propaganda against the regime" was referred to Branch 7 of the Mashhad Revolutionary Court.

به گزارش حقوق بشر در ایران، روز چهارشنبه ۴ مرداد ماه ۱۴۰۲، هادی آتشبار، متولد: ۱۳۵۶، فرزند: محمدعلی، زندانی سیاسی پیشین و محبوس و بلاتکلیف در بند۱۶زندان وکیل آباد مشهد، در پرونده جدید خود پس از محاکمه در شعبه ۷ دادگاه انقلاب مشهد مرکز استان خراسان رضوی، به ریاست قاضی یزدانخواه، در مجموع به تحمل ۵ سال و ۶ ماه حبس تعزیری و ۲ سال منع خروج از کشور، محکوم شد.
براساس دادنامه صادره توسط رئیس شعبه هفت دادگاه انقلاب مشهد که به در تاریخ ۴ مرداد ماه ۱۴۰۲، به هادی آتشبار، در زندان وکیل آباد مشهد ابلاغ شده؛ وی از بابت اتهام(اقدام علیه امنیتی ملی از طریق عضویت در دسته یا جمعیت به قصد بر هم زدن امنیت کشور) به تحمل ۳ سال حبس تعزیری، به اتهام (توهین به رهبری) به تحمل ۱ سال و ۸ ماه حبس تعزیری و از بابت اتهام (فعالیت تبلیغی علیه نظام) هم به ۱۰ ماه حبس تعزیری و همچنین به ۲ سال منع خروج از کشور هم محکوم شده است.
به نقل از یک منبع نزدیک به هادی آتشبار، در گفتگو با گزارشگر حقوق بشر در ایران:”ابلاغیه صادره حکم مذکور صبح چهارشنبه ۴ مرداد ماه ۱۴۰۲، از طریق ویدئو کنفرانس و توسط رئیس دفتر شعبه ۷ دادگاه انقلاب مشهد به آقای آتشبار اعلام شد.”
لازم به اشاره است، هادی آتشبار، در تاریخ ۲۵ بهمن ماه ۱۴۰۱، توسط نیروهای امنیتی در منزل شخصی خود پس از تفتیش و توقیف برخی لوازم از قبیل گوشی تلفن همراه، پاسپورت، شناسنامه و کارت ملی، بازداشت و به بازداشتگاه مخفی اداره اطلاعات مشهد منتقل شد و پس از طی مراحل بازجویی ها در تاریخ ۱ اسفند ماه ۱۴۰۱، به بند قزنطینه واقع در زندان وکیل آباد مشهد منتقل و در حال حاضر هم در بند ۱۶ آن زندان بسر میبرد.
همچنین، چندی بعد، جلسه بازپرسی و تفهیم اتهام هادی آتشبار، در شعبه ۹۰۳ بازپرسی دادسرای انقلاب مشهد برگزار و او توسط بازپرس سلیمانی، تفهیم اتهام و پس از تنظیم کیفرخواست پرونده وی با اتهامات (اقدام علیه امنیتی ملی از طریق عضویت در دسته یا جمعیت به قصد بر هم زدن امنیت کشور)، (توهین به رهبری) و (تبلیغ علیه نظام) به شعبه ۷ دادگاه انقلاب مشهد ارجاع شده بود.
