در تاریخ 12 آبان 1401 محمدامین حشمتیان، جوان اهل سنقر و کلیایی که در کرج ساکن بود، در جریان اعتراضات این شهر کشته شد. گزارش شده است که پیکر محمدامین حشمتیان پس از کشته شدن بر اثر اصابت گلوله در زادگاهش روستای سهنله از توابع شهرستان سنقر و کلیایی به خاک سپرده شده است.
