It has been reported that Shahab was riding a motorcycle when he noticed a child who had been shot and was lying injured. He dismounted, embraced the child, and requested that the child not be shot, but he himself was struck by a bullet.
His family received his body in Kahrizak and buried him on 22 Dey. Shahab worked at the Aladdin Mobile Shopping Centre in Tehran and was known for his dedication to his family.
