Nima Shafaghdoost, born on September 12, 2005, was a 17yearold student who was injured by a live bullet from behind her head on September 21, 2022 during public protests in Islamabad neighborhood of Urmia, but she did not go to the emergency room for fear of arrest. His parents treated him in the basement of the house out of fear of the government officials. During the following days, he visited the doctor several times and after 12 days his condition worsened. When he gets sick, he is taken to the hospital and dies half an hour later. They did not hand over the body to them and the family pressured him to declare the cause of death to be an infection caused by dog bite. On the October 5, the body is handed over to the family.
After some time, his father had a stroke and died due to the pressure from the government and the grief of losing his son.
Nima (Aslan) Shafaghdoost's mother said in a video message: My son was killed by security forces and they forced the family to say that he died due to a dog attack!
نیما شفق دوست متولد ۲۱ شهریور ۱۳۸۴، دانش آموز ۱۷ ساله ای بود که روز ۳۰ شهریور ۱۴۰۱درجریان اعتراضات مردمی در محله اسلام آباد ارومیه با شلیک گلوله ی جنگی از پشت سر، مجروح می شه ولی از ترس بازداشت به اورژانس مراجعه نمی کنه. پدرومادرش ازترس مامورای حکومتی اونو توی زیرزمین خونه مداوا می کردن طی روزهای بعد چند نوبت به پزشک مراجعه می کنه و بعد از ۱۲روز که حالش به وخامت گذاشت. وقتی که حالش بد می شه، به بیمارستان منتقل می شه و نیم ساعت بعد از دنیا می ره. جسد را به آنها تحویل نمیدهند و خانواده او را تحت فشار قرار دادند تا علت فوت را عفونتِ ناشی از گاز سگ اعلام کنند. روز سیزدهم مهر جسد را به خانواده تحویل میدهند.
پدرش پس از چندی بر اثر فشارهای وارده از دولت و ناراحتی ازدست دادن فرزند سکته کرده و از دنیا میرود.
مادر نیما(اصلان) شفق دوست طی پیامی ویدئویی عنوان کرده بود: پسرم با گلوله نیروهای امنیتی کشته شد و خانواده را مجبور کردند بگوییم بر اثر حمله سگ فوت کرده است!
