History:
He has started a hunger strike in protest of being transferred to solitary confinement.
A political prisoner, he was deprived of hospital and medical care by the prison authorities under the pretext of extortion. He was prevented from being sent to the hospital on the pretext of not wearing prison clothes at the time of his transfer.
On Sunday, the 14th of Mordad 1403 (4th August 2024) he was arrested and transferred to Evin prison to execute the prison sentence.
He was summoned to Branch I of Evin Prosecutor's Office after receiving a notice to enforce the prison sentence.
His sentence was reduced to four years, one month and seventeen days in prison and additional punishments by the appeals court of this province. Mr. Amini was previously sentenced to four years and three months in prison and additional punishments in the primary court.
A sixty-three-year-old citizen living in Tehran, was sentenced by the twenty-sixth branch of the Revolutionary Court of this city to four years and three months of penal servitude, a two-year ban on leaving the country, and additional punishments.
