Ramin Raeisi

Ramin Raeisi, born on February 18, 1997, was present in the Baharestan area of Isfahan on the night of January 9, 2026, following a protest call aimed at providing medical supplies to the injured. He disappeared that night, and his family received no information about his fate.

Family members of Ramin Raeisi visited various institutions and centers in the following days to inquire about his situation. In the first two days, conflicting and incorrect reports were provided by unofficial sources, including claims that he had been transferred to a juvenile correction center. However, no official institution took responsibility for his arrest or detention.

Finally, after about ten days of no news, on January 18, his lifeless body was handed over to the family under strict security measures and accompanied by threats. His burial ceremony was held in Bagh-e Rezvan, Isfahan, with the presence of unknown individuals who were later identified as plainclothes officers. The purpose of this security presence was reportedly to expedite the burial and prevent any gatherings or protests.

A day after the burial, Alireza Raeisi, a close relative of Ramin, was arrested. Since this arrest, the family has remained in complete uncertainty, and none of the responsible institutions have provided any information about his situation.

Ramin Raeisi had received his crane operator's license two months before his death and intended to start working officially.
