در جریان خیزش ملی علیه حکومت جمهوری اسلامی؛ عرفان شامگاه پنجشنبه ۱۸ دی در محله معلم کرمانشاه هدف اصابت گلوله جنگی به سرش قرار گرفت و جان باخت.
خانواده او پس از سه روز جستجو پیکر او را در پزشکی قانونی یافتند و روز یکشنبه ۲۱ دی ماه در آرامستان «بریموند» قطعه ۱۰۶ به خاک سپردند.
عرفان مجرد بود و شغل آزاد داشت. او به تازگی از دختر مورد علاقه اش خواستگاری کرده بود.
نزدیکان عرفان از او به عنوان فردی آرام مهربان و فامیل دوست یاد می کنند. عرفان آرزو داشت خانواده تشکیل بدهد و پدر بشود. آرزویی که با شلیک دیکتاتور بر باد رفت.

Erfan Ezzati, a 29-year-old resident of Kermanshah, was immortalized on January 8, 2026. During the national uprising against the Islamic Republic government, Erfan was shot in the head with live ammunition on the evening of Thursday, January 8, in the Moallem neighborhood of Kermanshah and lost his life. His family found his body at the forensic medicine office after three days of searching and buried him on Sunday, January 11, at the "Breyamond" cemetery, section 106. Erfan was single and self-employed. He had recently proposed to the girl he loved. Those close to Erfan remember him as a calm, kind, and family-oriented person. Erfan dreamed of starting a family and becoming a father, a dream that was shattered by the dictator's gunfire.
