او زمانی که دید ماموران امنیتی در تعقیب گروهی از معترضان هستند آن ها را به پارکینگ خانه اش راه داد و خودش پشت درب ایستاد. ماموران شروع به شلیک به سمت در خانه کردند و چندین گلوله جنگی به پیکر او برخورد کرد و کشته شد.
