Yezhan Kazemi, a political prisoner held in Evin Prison, has been sentenced to a total of 37 years and six months in prison by Branch 15 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court.

After about 16 months of uncertainty and detention, Bijan Kazemi was sentenced to a total of 37 years and 6 months in prison by Branch 5 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court, presided over by Judge Abolghasem Salavati.

On August 6, 2025, in recent days, Bijan Kazemi, a political detainee held without clear charges in Greater Tehran Prison, was charged by the investigator of Branch 5 of the District 33 Prosecutor's Office in Tehran.

The mother of this political detainee explained on her personal page that Bijan Kazemi, seven months after his arrest, was charged without his defense attorney present by the investigator of Branch 5 of the District 33 Prosecutor's Office in Tehran. A bail of 4 billion tomans was set for his release.

Bijan Kazemi was arrested by security forces in Kouhdasht on January 20, 2025, and transferred for interrogation to the security ward 209 of the Ministry of Intelligence located in Evin Prison on January 23, 2025.

In July 2025, due to an Israeli missile attack on Evin Prison, this political detainee, along with other prisoners, was transferred to Greater Tehran Prison.

بیژن کاظمی پس از حدود ۱۶ ماه بلاتکلیفی و بازداشت، از سوی شعبه ۵ دادگاه انقلاب تهران به ریاست قاضی ابوالقاسم صلواتی، در مجموع به ۳۷ سال و ۶ ماه حبس محکوم شد.

به گزارش حقوق بشر در ایران به تاریخ ۱۵ مرداد ماه ۱۴۰۴، طی روزهای اخیر، بیژن کاظمی، متهم سیاسی، محبوس و بلاتکلیف در زندان تهران بزرگ، توسط بازپرس شعبه ۵ دادسرای ناحیه ۳۳ قضایی تهران، تفهیم اتهام شد.

شهناز خسروی، مادر این متهم سیاسی، با انتشار خبر مذکور در صفحه شخصی خود تشریح کرد که بیژن کاظمی، پس از گذشت ۷ ماه از تاریخ دستگیری، بدون حضور وکیل مدافع خود توسط بازپرس شعبه ۵ دادسرای ناحیه ۳۳ تهران، تفهیم اتهام و برای آزادی بیژن کاظمی، وثیقه ای به ارزش ۴ میلیارد تومان، صادر شد.

لازم به ذکر است، بیژن کاظمی، در تاریخ ۳۰ دی ماه ۱۴۰۳، توسط نیروهای امنیتی، در شهرستان کوهدشت، دستگیر و در تاریخ ۳ بهمن ماه ۱۴۰۳، برای بازجویی به بند امنیتی ۲۰۹ وزارت اطلاعات، واقع در زندان اوین، منتقل شد.

این متهم سیاسی در تیر ماه ۱۴۰۴، به علت حمله موشکی اسرائیل به زندان اوین، به همراه سایر زندانیان محبوس در آن زندان به زندان تهران بزرگ منتقل شد.

بیژن کاظمی، زندانی سیاسی محبوس در زندان اوین، در تاریخ 24 اردیبهشت 1405، توسط شعبه ۱۵ دادگاه انقلاب تهران به مجموع ۳۷ سال و ۶ ماه حبس محکوم شد. او در تاریخ ۲۷ شهریور ۱۴۰۴، در اعتراض به شرایط نامناسب بازداشت خود، اعتصاب غذا کرده بود و در بازداشتگاه اداره اطلاعات قم نگهداری می شد. در تاریخ ۲۶ شهریور ۱۴۰۴، او از بازداشتگاه اداره اطلاعات قم به زندان اوین منتقل شد و به اعتصاب غذای خود پایان داد.
