بر اساس گزارش ها کیمیا داودی اهل تهران روز ۲۴ دی ماه ۱۴۰۴ با یورش نیروهای امنیتی جمهوری اسلامی به منزل شخصی اش بازداشت و به مکان نامعلومی منتقل شده است.
به گفته یک منبع آگاه ماموران امنیتی ابتدا ساعت ۲۰ شب همان روز با ورود به منزل کیمیا داودی اقدام به تفتیش خانه و ضبط وسایل الکترونیکی او کردند. نیروهای امنیتی پس از ترک محل حدود ساعت یک بامداد بار دیگر به منزل بازگشته و این شهروند را بازداشت کرده اند.
این منبع همچنین اعلام کرد که برای پرونده کیمیا داودی شعبه رسیدگی تعیین شده و قاضی صلواتی به عنوان قاضی پرونده منصوب شده است.
به گفته این منبع بازپرس پرونده درخواست «اشد مجازات» برای کیمیا داودی را مطرح کرده است.
