علی بردبار جاوید به همراه دختر نوجوانش شیوا جاوید در اعتراضات شهر مشهد شرکت داشتند. روز ۱۸ دی ۱۴۰۴ پدر هدف گلوله جنگی ماموران رژیم اسلامی قرار گرفت و کشته شد.
دخترش همان روز ناپدید می شود و پس از روزها جستجو در نهایت با سر و صورتی شکسته و خونین و بدون آنکه جای گلوله ای در بدنش باشد در میان پیکر شهروندان کشته شده دیگر پیدا می شود.
این دختر نوجوان را در اسارت و با ضربات به سر و صورت کشته بودند. شیوا بردبار جاوید متولد ۱۳۸۶ بود.
