عباس شفیعی، که در اعتراضات سراسری "زن زندگی آزادی" کشته شد، در تاریخ ۱۲ آبان 1401 با شلیک مستقیم ماموران مجروح گردید. برادر وی اعلام کرده است که عباس در تاریخ ۱۴ آبان و پس از عمل پیوند رگ در بیمارستان جان باخت. وی در حال رفتن به محل کار بود که ابتدا با ضربات باتون ماموران مواجه و سپس با شلیک این ماموران زخمی شد.

Abbas Shafiei was injured by direct fire from officers during the nationwide protests "Woman, Life, Freedom" on 3 November 2022, which was the fortieth day after the death of Hadis Najafi. He passed away in the hospital on 5 November 2022 following a vascular graft surgery. Abbas was on his way to work when he was initially confronted with baton strikes by the officers before being injured by their gunfire.
