وی در جریان اعتراضات سراسری، در تاریخ ۲۲ دی ماه ۱۴۰۴ توسط نیروهای اداره اطلاعات بازداشت و به بازداشتگاه این نهاد امنیتی در بندرعباس منتقل شد. وی پس از تحمل ۱۰ روز بازداشت و بازجویی، در تاریخ ۲ بهمن ماه ۱۴۰۴ با تودیع قرار وثیقه به صورت موقت تا پایان مراحل دادرسی آزاد گردید.

جلسه رسیدگی به اتهامات این فعال مدنی در تاریخ ۱۶ خردادماه ۱۴۰۵ در شعبه سوم دادگاه انقلاب بندرعباس برگزار شد. دادگاه در نهایت وی را بابت اتهام «فعالیت تبلیغی علیه نظام» به یک سال حبس تعزیری محکوم کرد. بر اساس ابلاغیه صادره، این حکم قابل تجدیدنظرخواهی در دادگاه استان است.
