در ادامه این رویدادها خبرگزاری مهر وابسته به سازمان تبلیغات اسلامی در تاریخ ۲۴ دی ماه ویدیویی با عنوان «عاملان به آتش کشیدن موکب میدان کوثر» منتشر کرد که در آن اعترافات اجباری این افراد پخش شده است. اعترافی که بدون تردید زیر شکنجه گرفته شده و بی اعتبار است. انتشار این اعترافات اجباری می تواند زمینه ساز صدور احکام سنگین برای این دانشجویان باشد.

Following these events, the Mehr News Agency, affiliated with the Islamic Propaganda Organization, released a video on January 14 titled “The perpetrators of setting fire to the procession in Kausar Square,” in which the forced confessions of these individuals were broadcast. A confession that was undoubtedly obtained under torture and is invalid. The release of these forced confessions could lead to the issuance of severe sentences for these students.
