Ali Gilani, a law student at Bahonar University of Kerman, was arrested during the January protests in Kerman city.
Following these events, the Mehr News Agency, affiliated with the Islamic Propaganda Organization, released a video on January 14 titled “The perpetrators of setting fire to the procession in Kausar Square,” in which the forced confessions of these individuals were broadcast. A confession that was undoubtedly obtained under torture and is invalid. The release of these forced confessions could lead to the issuance of severe sentences for these students.
