On 8 September 2023, Yusef Ahmadi, Mohammad Karimi, Basit Karimi, and Mohammad Faizi were sentenced to execution and imprisonment by the Revolutionary Court of Sanandaj. The verdict was issued after several court sessions by the judge of the first branch of the Revolutionary Court of Sanandaj. During the hearings, these individuals presented their defence, but they were denied access to legal counsel and other civil rights during the interrogation and investigation phases.
According to the verdict, which was communicated to the defendants and their lawyers on 3 September 2023, Yusef Ahmadi was sentenced to execution on charges of acting against national security through armed struggle. Mohammad Karimi was sentenced to 25 years of imprisonment for aiding in armed struggle, while Basit Karimi and Mohammad Faizi were each sentenced to 20 years of imprisonment on similar charges.
These individuals were arrested by security forces in early May 2020 in Baneh County. After being transferred to a detention centre in Sanandaj and undergoing interrogation and charge notification, they were moved to Sanandaj Central Prison.
در تاریخ 17 شهریور 1402، یوسف احمدی، محمد کریمی، باسط کریمی و محمد فیضی توسط دادگاه انقلاب سنندج به اعدام و حبس تعزیری محکوم شدند. این حکم پس از برگزاری چند جلسه دادرسی توسط قاضی شعبه اول دادگاه انقلاب سنندج صادر شد. این افراد در جلسات دادرسی دفاعیات خود را ارائه کرده بودند، اما در مراحل بازجویی و بازپرسی از دسترسی به وکیل و سایر حقوق شهروندی محروم بودند.
براساس حکم صادره که در تاریخ 12 شهریور 1402 به متهمان و وکلای آنها ابلاغ شد، یوسف احمدی به اتهام اقدام علیه امنیت ملی از طریق مبارزه مسلحانه به اعدام محکوم شد. محمد کریمی به اتهام معاونت در مبارزه مسلحانه به 25 سال حبس تعزیری و باسط کریمی و محمد فیضی هر یک به اتهام مشابه به 20 سال حبس تعزیری محکوم شدند.
این افراد در اوایل اردیبهشت 1399 در شهرستان بانه توسط نیروهای امنیتی دستگیر و پس از انتقال به بازداشتگاه در سنندج و طی مراحل بازجویی و تفهیم اتهام، به زندان مرکزی سنندج منتقل شدند.
