On Thursday, February 7, 2025, Naser Navard Gol-Tapeh, a Christian convert, and Joseph Shahbazian, an Armenian citizen residing in Tehran, were arrested by agents of the Ministry of Intelligence and transferred to Evin Prison for judicial proceedings. Reports indicate that Ministry of Intelligence agents raided the homes of Naser Navard Gol-Tapeh and Joseph Shahbazian, leading to the arrest of these two Christian citizens.
It is also reported that Naser Navard Gol-Tapeh is on a hunger strike.
It is noteworthy that on January 25, 2022, his case was referred to Branch 9 of the Supreme Court for the application of Article 477 for retrial. In March 2022, after the request was denied, the notification was sent by Iman Afshari to the defense lawyer of this Christian convert. However, on October 17, 2022, Naser Navard Gol-Tapeh was released.
Additionally, on September 14, 2020, the request for retrial of this Christian convert's case was rejected after being referred to Branch 33 of the Supreme Court.
On August 13, 2020, Branch 33 of the Supreme Court was referred to, and after a hearing, the Supreme Court refused to accept the retrial request, citing that it did not comply with any of the seven clauses of Article 474 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
Naser Navard Gol-Tapeh, along with three Azerbaijani citizens, was arrested at a private gathering on June 24, 2016.
Naser Navard Gol-Tapeh and the three arrested Christians were interrogated in solitary confinement in Evin Prison for two months and were eventually charged with assembly and collusion in evangelistic activities.
All the detained individuals were temporarily released from prison after four months of detention and interrogation, each upon posting a bail of 1 billion rials.

صبح پنجشنبه ۱۸ بهمن ماه ۱۴۰۳، ناصر نورد گل تپه ـ نوکیش مسیحی و ژوزف شهبازیان ـ شهروند ارمنی تبار، ساکن تهران، توسط ماموران وزارت اطلاعات، دستگیر و برای تشکیل پرونده قضایی به زندان اوین، منتقل شدند. براساس این گزارش، ماموران وزارت اطلاعات، با یورش به منزل ناصر نورد گل تپه و ژوزف شهبازیان، این دو شهروند مسیحی را دستگیر کردند.
همچنین، گفته می شود ناصر نورد گل تپه در اعتصاب غذا بسر می برد.
ناصر نورد گل تپه لازم به اشاره است، در تاریخ ۵ بهمن ماه ۱۴۰۰، پرونده وی برای اعمال ماده ۴۷۷ اعاده دادرسی، به شعبه ۹ دیوان عالی کشور ارجاع و در اسفند ماه ۱۴۰۰، پس از رد درخواست ابلاغیه آن را ایمان افشاری به وکیل مدافع این نوکیش مسیحی ارسال کرد اما در تاریخ ۲۵ مهر ماه ۱۴۰۱، ناصر نورد گل تپه، آزاد شده بود.
همچنین، در تاریخ ۲۴ شهریور ماه ۱۳۹۹، درخواست اعاده دادرسی به پرونده این نوکیش مسیحی، پس از ارجاع به شعبه ۳۳ دیوان عالی کشور رد شده بود.
در تاریخ ۲۳ مرداد ماه ۱۳۹۹، شعبه ۳۳ دیوان عالی کشور ارجاع و پس از تشکیل جلسه دادرسی، دیوان عالی با استناد به منطبق نبودن این درخواست با هیچ یک از ۷ بند ماده ۴۷۴ از قانون آئین دادرسی کیفری از قبول درخواست اعاده دادرسی سر باز زد.
ناصر نورد گل تپه، به همراه سه شهروند تبعه کشور جمهوری آذربایجان، در تاریخ ۴ تیر ماه ۱۳۹۵ در یک گردهمایی خصوصی بازداشت شدند.
ناصر نورد گل تپه به همراه هر ۳ مسیحی بازداشت شده به مدت ۲ ماه در سلول انفرادی زندان اوین تحت بازجویی قرار گرفتند و سرانجام از بابت اتهام اجتماع و تبانی در فعالیت های تبشیری مورد تفهیم اتهام قرار گرفتند.
جملگی افراد بازداشت شده پس از گذشت ۴ ماه بازداشت و طی مراحل بازجوئی هر یک با تودیع قرار وثیقه ای به مبلغ ۱۰۰ میلیون تومان به طور موقت از زندان آزاد شدند.
