On 30 July 2024, an individual was arrested by security forces in Fardis, either on the street or at their residence. Following a search of the residence, electronic devices and religious books were confiscated. The individual was initially taken to a detention centre and later transferred to Kachouei Prison in Karaj. After approximately 50 to 52 days, on 2 October 2024, the individual was temporarily released on bail.

Ms Nandi Behrouzi (Forohari), a detained Baha'i citizen living in Fardis city, was transferred to Kachouei prison in Karaj on 25th Moradi 1403 (15th August 2024) after the interrogation process was over.
Despite the passage of three days since her arrest, she is still in one of the detention centers of the Intelligence Department. Despite he poor health, she has been deprived of receiving the medicines he needs.
On Monday, the eighth of Mordad 1403 (29th July 2024) Mrs Nahid Behrouzi (Frouhari), a Baha'i citizen living in Fardis city was arrested by the forces of the Intelligence Department. At the same time, her house was searched and some of her personal belongings were confiscated.
