Ataollah Zafar, a Baha'i citizen, remains detained in Evin Prison. Reports indicate that his court session was held on 31 May 2023 at the Revolutionary Court, but his interrogation continues, and he is being held without resolution in Ward 209 of Evin Prison. Ataollah Zafar was arrested by security forces on 1 May 2023 and transferred to the Ministry of Intelligence detention centre.
This Baha'i citizen was released from Evin Prison on 29 October of the previous year after the suspension of his sentence and posting bail. In March 2023, his case was pardoned and declared closed. He had been arrested on 29 August 2022 to serve a one-year prison sentence and was transferred to Evin Prison.
عطاءالله ظفر، شهروند بهائی، همچنان در زندان اوین در بازداشت به سر می برد. گزارش ها حاکی از آن است که جلسه دادگاه وی در 10 خرداد 1402 در دادگاه انقلاب برگزار شده، اما بازجویی از او ادامه دارد و او به صورت بلاتکلیف در بند 209 زندان اوین نگهداری می شود. عطاءالله ظفر در 11 اردیبهشت 1402 توسط نیروهای امنیتی بازداشت و به بازداشتگاه وزارت اطلاعات منتقل شد.
این شهروند بهائی در 7 آبان سال گذشته با تعلیق اجرای حکم و تأمین وثیقه از زندان اوین آزاد شد. در اسفند 1401، پرونده او مشمول عفو قرار گرفت و مختومه اعلام شد. وی در 7 شهریور 1401 برای تحمل دوران محکومیت یک سال حبس خود بازداشت و به زندان اوین منتقل شده بود.
