According to the Campaign for Baluch Activists, on Monday, June 16, 2025, Benyamin Kouhkan, a detainee in Zahedan Central Prison, was sentenced to death by the judge of the Zahedan Revolutionary Court branch.
According to this report, the charges against Mohammad Darvish Narouei were "enmity against God" and "corruption on Earth," and he was sentenced to death.
Additionally, the trial session for Benyamin Kouhkan's case was held on June 16, 2025, by the judge of the Zahedan Revolutionary Court branch. After being transferred to the Zahedan Central Prison and tried at the Zahedan Judiciary, the accused was returned to the quarantine ward of the Zahedan Central Prison after the completion of the trial process but is still deprived of the right to contact his family.
It is worth mentioning that Benyamin Kouhkan was also arrested by security forces in Zahedan on January 3, 2023, during nationwide protests. After being transferred to a detention center of one of the security agencies in Zahedan, he was held in limbo for 15 days and then transferred on January 14, 2023, to the detention center of the Zahedan Police Intelligence Department. He was eventually moved to Zahedan Central Prison, and since then, ongoing new interrogations have raised concerns about judicial fabrication against this 16-year-old.
به گزارش حقوق بشر در ایران به نقل از کمپین فعالین بلوچ، روز دوشنبه ۲۶ خرداد ماه ۱۴۰۴، بنیامین کوهکن متهم محبوس در زندان مرکزی زاهدان، توسط قاضی شعبه دادگاه انقلاب زاهدان به اعدام محکوم شد.
براساس این گزارش، اتهامات منتسب شده به محمددرویش نارویی ، «محاربه» و «افساد فی الارض» عنوان و وی به اعدام محکوم شدند.
همچنین، جلسه دادرسی به پرونده قضایی بنیامین کوهکن در تاریخ ۲۶ خرداد ماه ۱۴۰۴، توسط قاضی شعبه دادگاه انقلاب زاهدان، برگزار و این متهم، پس از انتقال به زندان مرکزی زاهدان به دادگستری زاهدان، محاکمه شده بودند و پس از اتمام مراحل دادرسی به بند قرنطینه زندان مرکزی زاهدان، بازگردانده شد اما همچنان از حق برقراری تماس با خانواده خود محروم است.
لازم به اشاره است، بنیامین کوهکن هم در تاریخ ۱۳ دی ماه ۱۴۰۱، همزمان با اعتراضات سراسری، توسط نیروهای امنیتی در زاهدان، بازداشت و پس از انتقال به بازداشتگاه یکی از نهادهای امنیتی در زاهدان به مدت ۱۵ روز در بلاتکلیفی بسر برد و سپس در تاریخ ۲۴ دی ماه ۱۴۰۱ هم به بازداشتگاه اداره آگاهی متعلق به نیروی انتظامی زاهدان، منتقل و در نهایت به زندان مرکزی زاهدان، منتقل و از آن زمان در پی تداوم بازجویهای جدید نگرانیها از پرونده سازی قضایی بر علیه این نوجوان ۱۶ ساله افزایش پیدا کرده بود.
