On Saturday, April 6, 2024, Hamidreza Kouhkan, a political detainee from Sistan and Baluchestan province, remains in an uncertain situation and deprived of medical treatment in Ward 9 of Zahedan Central Prison, nearly two months after his arrest and completion of interrogations and charges.
A knowledgeable source reported that Hamidreza Kouhkan is held in Zahedan Prison without clarity on his status, deprived of medical treatment for serious injuries to his side and back sustained during interrogation, and denied visits from family, even a lawyer, as well as other basic rights as a detainee. No attention has been given to his condition.
Despite Hamidreza Kouhkan's transfer to Zahedan Central Prison and the completion of interrogations, the specific legal charges against him remain unknown.
It is noteworthy that Hamidreza Kouhkan was arrested by security forces in Zahedan on February 6, 2025, and after being taken to the detention center of the Sistan and Baluchestan Intelligence Department and undergoing interrogation and charge notification, he was transferred to Ward 9 of Zahedan Central Prison on April 4, 2024, after 58 days of intense interrogations.
Previously, on August 27, 2020, Hamidreza Kouhkan was arrested by security forces in Zahedan, transferred to the detention center of the Sistan and Baluchestan Intelligence Department, and after undergoing interrogation, he was moved to Zahedan Central Prison. After several months of uncertainty and deprivation of basic rights as a detainee, he was released on bail.

به گزارش حقوق بشر در ایران، امروز شنبه ۱۸ فروردین ماه ۱۴۰۳، حمیدرضا کوهکن، متهم سیاسی، اهل استان سیستان و بلوچستان و محبوس در بند ۹ زندان مرکزی شهر زاهدان، علیرغم گذشت نردیک به ۲ ماه از تاریخ دستگیری و سپری شدن دوران بازجویی ها و تفهیم اتهام، با وضعیت بلاتکلیف و در محرومیت از حق درمان، بسر می برد.
به نقل از یک فرد مطلع در گفتگو با گزارشگر کمپین فعالین بلوچ:”حمیدرضا کوهکن، در حالی بطور بلاتکلیف در زندان زاهدان بسر می برد که از حق درمان آسیب جدی از ناحیه پهلو و کمر در دوران بازجویی ، ملاقات با خانواده ـ حتی وکیل و سایر حقوق اولیه خود بعوان یک متهم محروم شده و هیچگونه رسیدگی به وضعیت وی صورت نگرفته است.”
علیرغم انتقال حمیدرضا کوهکن، به زندان مرکزی زاهدان و اتمام بازجویی ها اما از مصادیق حقوقی اتهامات تفهیم شده به وی اطلاعی حاصل نشده است.
لازم به اشاره است، حمیدرضا کوهکن، در تاریخ ۱۷ بهمن ماه ۱۴۰۳، توسط نیروهای امنیتی، در شهر زاهدان، دستگیر و پس از انتقال به بازداشتگاه اداره کل اطلاعات استان سیستان و بلوچستان و طی مراحل بازجویی ها و تفهیم اتهام، در تاریخ ۱۶ فروردین ماه ۱۴۰۳، در حالی که ۵۸ روز را تحت بازجویی های شدید قرار گرفت به بند ۹ زندان مرکزی زاهدان منتقل شده است.
حمیدرضا کوهکن، پیشتر هم در تاریخ ۶ شهریور ماه ۱۳۹۹، توسط نیروهای امنیتی در شهر زاهدان، دستگیر و پس از انتقال به بازداشتگاه اداره کل اطلاعات استان سیستان و بلوچستان و طی مراحل بازجویی ها به زندان مرکزی زاهدان، منتقل و پس از تحمل چندین ماه بلاتکلیفی و محرومیت از حقوق اولیه یک متهم با تودیع وثیقه آزاد شده بود.
