Amirhossein Moradi Vafa was shot and killed during protests in Kermanshah on 8 January 2026. He was injured in the face by a sniper in the Kernachi neighbourhood of Kermanshah. People at the scene attempted to stop the bleeding and transport him to the hospital.
It was reported that the medical staff's efforts at the hospital were unsuccessful, and due to severe damage to vital organs causing significant bleeding, he passed away.
Two days after the incident, his body was found at the forensic medicine facility.
According to reports, security officials stipulated that his body could only be released if no ceremonies other than a burial with a limited number of close family members were held. Consequently, his funeral took place on 10 January 2026 in Kermanshah.
امیرحسین مرادی وفا در تاریخ 18 دی 1404 در اعتراضات کرمانشاه هدف گلوله قرار گرفت و کشته شد. او بر اثر شلیک یک تک تیرانداز در محله کرناچی کرمانشاه از ناحیه صورت مجروح شد. مردم حاضر در محل تلاش کردند جلوی خونریزی را بگیرند و او را به بیمارستان منتقل کنند.
گزارش شده است که تلاش کادر پزشکی در بیمارستان موفقیت آمیز نبود و به دلیل آسیبی که به ارگان های اصلی وارد شده بود و موجب خونریزی شدید شده بود، مرگ او رخ داد.
دو روز پس از این اتفاق، پیکر او در پزشکی قانونی یافت شد.
براساس گزارش ها، ماموران امنیتی برای تحویل پیکر او شرط گذاشتند که به جز خاکسپاری با تعداد محدودی از فامیل نزدیک، هیچ مراسم دیگری نباید برگزار شود و به این ترتیب مراسم تشییع او در تاریخ 20 دی 1404 در کرمانشاه برگزار شد.
