On the evening of Friday, January 9, 2026 (19 Dey 1404), a Turkic citizen from Ajin, a district of Asadabad, was killed during public protests in Tehran in the Persian Gulf neighborhood (District 2) after being directly shot from the rooftop of a police station, with a live bullet striking his chest.
He worked as a tailor and made his living through this profession.
Government institutions pressured and threatened his family and required a pledge of silence in exchange for handing over his body. He was ultimately buried in the Golzare Shohada cemetery of his hometown Ajin.
