At dawn on August 5, 2020, Mostafa Salehi was executed. His only "crime" was protesting against poverty and injustice during the December 2017 uprising.
Mostafa Salehi had been sentenced to death on charges of killing a Basij member named Sajjad Shah Sanaei, who was shot during the December 2017 protests in Kahrizsang, Najafabad. Despite being subjected to severe torture to force a confession, he consistently denied the charges and refused to make a coerced confession.
Mostafa Salehi, a 30yearold construction worker, also worked as a driver to provide for his children and family. He was the father of two young children.
In a cruel act, the Judiciary confiscated the home of his two orphaned children in Isfahan following his execution.
Mostafa Salehi stands as a symbol of resistance and steadfastness in the face of oppression, and his memory must be kept alive.
سحرگاه ۱۵ مرداد ۱۳۹۹ مصطفی صالحی را اعدام کردند. مصطفی صالحی تنها گناهش اعتراض به فقر و بی عدالتی در اعتراضات دی ماه ۹۶ بود.
مصطفی صالحی به اتهام قتل یک بسیجی پاسدار به نام «سجاد شاه سنایی» که در جریان قیام دی ماه ۱۳۹۶ در «کهریزسنگ» نجف آباد مورد اصابت گلوله قرار گرفت به اعدام محکوم شد.
او را هر چقدر شکنجه گردند تا علیه خود اعتراف اجباری کند هرگز نپذیرفت و این اتهام را رد کرد. مصطفی صالحی ۳۰ ساله، کارگر ساختمانی بود که برای امرار معاش فرزندان و خانواده اش مسافرکشی می کرد. او دارای دو کودک خردسال بود.
قوه قضاییه با قساوت تمام اقدام به مصادره سرپناه دو کودک یتیم او در اصفهان کرد.
مصطفی صالحی نماد مقاومت و ایستادگی در برابر ظلم است و یاد او باید زنده نگه داشته شود.
