Nima Nouri

Nima Nouri, born on April 15, 2004, was one of the victims of Iran's 2022 Uprising in Karaj.

Nima Nouri was on his way to Behesht Sakine Karaj cemetery on November 3, 2022 to participate in the 40th ceremony of Hadis Najafi, when he was wounded by security forces with bullet to his thigh. Nima was first transferred to Vasal Karaj clinic; But after that he was transferred to Madani Hospital where he undergo surgery but died there the same day in that hospital.

Nima was 18 years and 6 months old when she was killed and was the only child in the family. He had a diploma and was a kind and simple person who loved cars and driving. A few days before he was killed, Nima had said on the Instagram account of the nongovernmental organization +1,500 images that he was ready to sacrifice his life for "homeland and freedom".

His father said in an interview with Deutsche Welle Farsi on the "For Freedom" program: "The bullet hit my son's white thigh and they said it reached the bladder, the bullet was complete bullet. My son was cut below the sternum up to his leg. I couldn't believe it so I called him and ask him to wake up. I had already talked to him, how cold it be!" he continued, "They had taken him to fix his foot in the socalled hospital or they had taken him to perform an autopsy and remove his body parts!". He is suspicious that either they shot him again in the ambulance on the chest or they cut him up to take his organs.

A short video of him left in the car when he was taken to the hospital shows that the bullet hit his groin and his chest was not hit by a bullet, and he was able to speak.

In the end, Nima's body is handed over to the family six days after her death with the condition that they bury her in Behesht Ali (at a distance where the family has to drive two and a half hours to get there) He will be buried on November 18.
