Hadis Najafi, a protester in the 2022 Iranian uprising, was fatally shot with pellet bullets by the Islamic Republic's military forces on 21 September 2022 in Mehrshahr, Karaj. Her death received widespread international media coverage and she became a symbol of the protests against the Islamic Republic.
Hadis Najafi worked at a restaurant located on Eram Boulevard in Mehrshahr, Karaj, and held a diploma in fashion design. She was the fourth child in her family.
Following the death of Mahsa Amini, a short video of a girl tying her hair and heading to the protests went viral on social media. This video was initially identified as Hadis Najafi, but it was later clarified that the girl in the video was not her.
Security forces reportedly pressured her family to state that she died of natural causes. It was said that her body was not released until assurances were made that the matter would not be publicised. Hadis Najafi was buried on 23 September 2022 at Behesht Sakineh Cemetery in Karaj.
Her fortieth-day memorial ceremony was held on 3 November 2022 at Behesht Sakineh Cemetery in Karaj. A large crowd attended the ceremony, chanting anti-government slogans. Protesters blocked the Karaj-Qazvin highway, leading to clashes between some protesters and law enforcement forces. Security forces fired at the protesters, and several were arrested. It was reported that one Basij member was killed and several law enforcement officers were injured. Due to heavy traffic, helicopters were used to transport the injured to medical facilities.
حدیث نجفی، یکی از معترضان در خیزش ۱۴۰۱ ایران، در مهرشهر کرج توسط نیروهای نظامی جمهوری اسلامی در تاریخ ۳۰ شهریور ۱۴۰۱ در بلوار ارم مهرشهر کرج مورد اصابت گلوله ساچمه ای قرار گرفت و از شدت جراحات جان باخت. مرگ او بازتاب گسترده ای در رسانه های بین المللی داشت و به نمادی از اعتراضات علیه جمهوری اسلامی تبدیل شد.
حدیث نجفی در رستورانی واقع در بلوار ارم مهرشهر کرج کار می کرد و دارای دیپلم طراحی دوخت بود. او فرزند چهارم خانواده بود.
در جریان اعتراضات پس از کشته شدن مهسا امینی، ویدیوی کوتاهی از دختری که موهای خود را می بندد و به اعتراضات می رود در شبکه های اجتماعی پربازدید شد. این ویدیو به عنوان حدیث نجفی منتشر شد، اما مشخص شد که این دختر حدیث نجفی نیست.
نیروهای امنیتی خانواده او را وادار کردند که بگویند او به مرگ طبیعی درگذشته است. گفته شده که پیکر حدیث را تحویل ندادند تا تعهد گرفتند که موضوع رسانه ای نشود. پیکر حدیث نجفی در تاریخ ۱ مهر ۱۴۰۱ در آرامستان بهشت سکینه کرج به خاک سپرده شد.
مراسم چهلم حدیث نجفی در تاریخ ۱۲ آبان ۱۴۰۱ در بهشت سکینه کرج برگزار شد. جمعیت زیادی در این مراسم شرکت کردند و شعارهای ضد حکومتی سر دادند. معترضان آزادراه کرج قزوین را مسدود کردند که منجر به درگیری میان برخی معترضان و نیروهای انتظامی شد. نیروهای امنیتی به سوی معترضان تیراندازی کردند و تعدادی از معترضان بازداشت شدند. گزارش شده که یک نفر از نیروهای بسیجی کشته و چند نفر از نیروهای انتظامی نیز مصدوم شدند. به دلیل ترافیک سنگین، از هلی کوپتر برای اعزام مجروحان به مراکز درمانی استفاده شد.
