On 17 November 2022, Aram Habibi, a resident of Sanandaj, was severely injured during public protests in the city and at a memorial ceremony for several individuals in "Mohammadi" Square, Sanandaj. He was shot in the temple and succumbed to his injuries and internal bleeding before reaching the hospital.
At Kowsar Hospital in Sanandaj, the body of Aram Habibi was transferred to the Sanandaj forensic department, where a bullet was removed from his head.
Several hours later, security agencies pressured the family by obtaining a written commitment to hold the burial ceremony in complete silence and without public attendance. Consequently, the burial of Aram Habibi took place at night without public presence in "Behesht Mohammadi" cemetery in Sanandaj.
Additionally, the seventh and fortieth-day memorial ceremonies for Aram Habibi were held under strict security measures at "Behesht Mohammadi" cemetery in Sanandaj.
در تاریخ ۲۶ آبان ۱۴۰۱، آرام حبیبی اهل سنندج، در جریان اعتراضات مردمی این شهر و در مراسم چهلم چند نفر در میدان "محمدی" سنندج، بر اثر شلیک گلوله به ناحیه شقیقه سر به شدت زخمی شد و قبل از رسیدن به بیمارستان به دلیل شدت جراحات و خونریزی داخلی جان باخت.
در بیمارستان «کوثر» سنندج، پیکر آرام حبیبی به پزشک قانونی سنندج منتقل شد و در آنجا گلوله از سر او خارج گردید.
پس از چند ساعت، نهادهای امنیتی با اخذ تعهد کتبی از خانواده، آن ها را تحت فشار قرار دادند که مراسم خاکسپاری را در سکوت کامل و بدون حضور مردم برگزار کنند. به همین دلیل، مراسم خاکسپاری آرام حبیبی شبانه و بدون حضور مردم در «بهشت محمدی» سنندج برگزار شد.
همچنین، مراسم هفتم و چهلم آرام حبیبی تحت تدابیر شدید امنیتی در «بهشت محمدی» سنندج برگزار گردید.
