Saeed Davoodi was arrested during protests in Qom on 8 and 9 January 2023. He was executed two months and ten days later amidst ongoing conflict and with little media coverage.
In a court report where Saeed Davoodi stood as the accused, the prosecutor's representative in Qom did not allow him to speak in his defence. Instead, the representative sought confirmation from him regarding statements about a "samurai sword." The court report indicated that Saeed was tried on charges of killing a police officer. However, according to the judiciary, he was ultimately sentenced to death not for the murder charge but for the charge of waging war against the state.
Saeed Davoodi, the son of Ramazan, was hanged three days before he would have turned 22 on 20 March 2026.
سعید داودی در جریان اعتراضات ۱۸ و ۱۹دی در قم بازداشت شد و دو ماه و ده روز بعد در میانه جنگ و در سکوت خبری اعدام شد.
در گزارشی از دادگاه که سعید داودی در آن در جایگاه متهم ایستاده نماینده دادستان قم به سعید که مترصد دفاع از خود است اجازه حرف زدن نمی دهد و فقط از او تایید گفته های خود را درباره یک «شمشیر سامورایی» را می خواهد. در گزارش دادگاه این طور گفته می شود که سعید با اتهام قتل یک مامور فراجا محاکمه می شود، در حالی که سعید در نهایت بنابر اعلام قوه قضاییه نه به اتهام قتل مامور که با اتهام محاربه محکوم به اعدام می شود.
سعید داودی فرزند رمضان سه روز پیش از آن که در اول فروردین ۱۴۰۵ به ۲۲ سالگی برسد به دار آویخته شد.
