The court hearing to examine the charges against Seyedeh Zeynab Mousavi was held on Sunday, Ordibehesht 6, 1405 (April 26, 2026), at the Revolutionary Court of Mashhad on the charge of moharebeh (enmity against God).
During interrogations, government authorities accused them of “throwing Molotov cocktails” during the Mashhad protests—an allegation that is often attributed to protesters under severe pressure in order to extract forced confessions.
Seyedeh Zeinab Mousavi was arrested on Tuesday, Esfand 5, 1405 (February 26, 2026), and after undergoing interrogation in government detention centers, was transferred to Vakilabad Prison in Mashhad. The continued detention of these two citizens comes as the head of the judiciary has repeatedly emphasized accelerating the issuance and enforcement of sentences for those arrested during the January protests.

نهادهای حکومتی در جریان بازجویی ها، آن ها را به «پرتاب کوکتل مولوتوف» در جریان اعتراضات مشهد متهم کرده اند؛ اتهامی که اغلب تحت فشارهای شدید و جهت اخذ اعترافات اجباری به معترضان نسبت داده می شود.
سیده زینب موسوی روز سه شنبه ۵ اسفند ۱۴۰۵ (۲۶ فوریه ۲۰۲۶) بازداشت و پس از تحمل دوران بازجویی در بازداشتگاه های حکومتی، به زندان وکیل آباد مشهد منتقل شدند. تداوم بازداشت این شهروند در حالی است که رئیس قوه قضائیه بارها بر سرعت بخشیدن به صدور و اجرای احکام معترضان دی ماه تأکید کرده است.
