On Monday, October 23, 2023, Zainab Mousavi, a comedian, satirist, and artist residing in Tehran, was arrested after being summoned to the prosecutor's office and charged.
According to this report, the charge attributed to Zainab Mousavi (insulting Islamic sanctities in cyberspace) has been stated.

Zainab Mousavi was arrested by security forces in Qom Province on October 12, 2022, and transferred to a detention center of one of the security agencies for interrogation. In late November 2022, after the completion of interrogations and being charged, she was released on bail.
With the start of the trial process, the judge of the Revolutionary Court of Qom Province sentenced Zainab Mousavi to 2 years of imprisonment in mid-December 2022. This sentence was upheld in mid-February 2023 by the appeals court of Qom Province. However, following the issuance and implementation of a directive by the judiciary, Zainab Mousavi received an order for the dismissal of her case.
به گزارش حقوق بشر در ایران به نقل از دیدبان ایران، روز دوشنبه ۱ آبان ماه ۱۴۰۲، زینب موسوی، کمدین، طنزپرداز و هنرمند ساکن تهران، پس از احضار به دادسرا و تفهیم اتهام، بازداشت شد.
براساس این گزارش، اتهام منتسب شده به زینب موسوی(توهین به مقدسات اسلامی در فضای مجازی) عنوان شده است.
تا لحظه تنظیم این خبر، از وضعیت زینب موسوی، مکان نگهداری و از ورند حقوقی پرونده وی اطلاعی حاصل نشده است.
زینب موسوی، در تاریخ ۲۰ مهر ماه ۱۴۰۱، توسط نیروهای امنیتی در استان قم بازداشت و جهت بازجوئی به بازداشتگاه یکی از ارگانهای امنیتی منتقل و اواخر آبان ماه ۱۴۰۱، پس از اتمام بازجوئی ها و تفهیم اتهام با تودیع وثیقه آزاد شد.
با آغاز مرادحل دادرسی، قاضی شعبه دادگاه انقلاب استان قم، اواسط آذر ماه ۱۴۰۱، با صدور دادنامه ای زینب موسوی را به تحمل ۲ سال حبس تعزیری محکوم کرد و این حکم اواسط بهمن ماه ۱۴۰۱، توسط شعبه دادگاه تجدیدنظر استان قم عینا تائید شده بود اما در پی صدور و اعمال بخشنامه قوه قضائیه زینب موسوی، قرار منع تعقیب خود را درآن پرونده دریافت کرد.
