According to information received by the Iran Human Rights Organisation, Pejman Nowruz Rajabi, who worked as a hairdresser in the city of Shahsavar, Tonekabon, was killed during nationwide protests in Iran. It has been reported that security forces shot him with a Kalashnikov weapon, with the bullet striking the right side of his abdomen, resulting in his death.
The burial ceremony for Pejman Nowruz Rajabi was held on either January 9 or 10, 2026 in Shahsavar.
