Rouhollah Nadiri, a 47-year-old father of three, was killed by a gunshot to the heart on the evening of January 9, on Chamran Street in Sabashahr, Shahriar, amid a crowd. Informed sources reported that special unit forces shot at the protester. They fired at the protesters from inside vehicles while wearing masks, and all surveillance cameras overlooking the shooting location were collected by suppressive forces. The protester's body was held for three days before being handed over to the family. Before the burial, the family saw that the bullet had struck Nadiri's heart and exited through his back. The family was not charged for the bullet used in the burial of the slain protester.
