The last time Zainab Ahmadi was heard from was on 19 January 2026, when she informed a relative that the situation was dangerous and requested not to go out alone. She mentioned that she had returned home early after going out the previous night, but this time she did not return.
Zainab Ahmadi, a young woman living alone after the death of her parents, left her brother's house in Fardis around 6:30 PM on 19 January 2026. Shortly after, she was shot in the upper leg by security forces. She managed to drag herself into the alley and parking area of a building, where local residents attempted to bandage her wound with a neighbor's shawl, but the bleeding was severe. Efforts to transfer her to a hospital were met with gunfire from security forces, who threatened that anyone leaving their homes would be killed.
Zainab lost her life in the parking area of the building. After the situation in the street calmed down, she was taken to the hospital and subsequently transferred to the morgue.
Zainab Ahmadi was an animal rights supporter and owned two dogs. The following morning, her dogs became anxious due to her absence, prompting a neighbor to notice that Zainab had not returned and to make a call. Her family began searching for her, and one of her acquaintances informed her friends that a girl among them had reported seeing a woman in a white jacket killed in their parking area the previous night. Upon seeing Zainab's photo, they recognized her.
Zainab Ahmadi had several years of work experience at a company and paid for her insurance as a freelancer. A relative stated that she had 17 years of insurance coverage, which proved to be of no help, as it did not even cover her burial expenses.
When Zainab's family visited Behesht-e Sakineh in Karaj to find her body, they encountered scenes they described as inhumane. The bodies were improperly placed next to each other, and officials stated that due to the high volume of corpses, they were unable to provide adequate services.
With heavy hearts and tearful eyes, Zainab's family found her among the bodies. The forensic report indicated that the cause of death was a gunshot wound to the lower extremities. Subsequently, they faced difficulties in obtaining a burial permit, as no cemetery was willing to accept her. Ultimately, they had to agree to Behesht-e Ali.
The harassment did not end at this stage. The bodies were transported improperly in ambulances, and there were issues regarding the holding of mourning ceremonies. Eventually, a Hosseiniyeh in Malard allowed the ceremony to take place, but under specific conditions.
The burial site at Behesht-e Ali on 21 January 2026 was heavily secured, with police present. The graves were spaced apart to prevent gatherings, and even the installation of gravestones was not permitted.
A close family member of Zainab reported that several agencies contacted them after the burial, requesting interviews, despite initially not allowing her body to be buried.
Zainab's dogs continue to wait for her return. According to her relatives, she spent all she had on food for the dogs and cats, and currently, neighborhood cats are lining up at her door, waiting for food.

زینب احمدی، زن جوانی که بعد از فوت والدینش به تنهایی زندگی می کرد، در روز ۱۹ دی ۱۴۰۴ حوالی ساعت شش و نیم بعدازظهر از خانه برادرش در فردیس خارج شد. در دقایق اولیه، گلوله ای از سوی ماموران به بالای زانوی او اصابت کرد. او خود را به داخل کوچه و پارکینگ یک ساختمان کشاند و اهالی محل زخمش را با چادر یکی از همسایه ها بستند، اما خونریزی شدید بود. تلاش برای انتقال او به بیمارستان با شلیک ماموران بسیج به مردم مواجه شد و آنها تهدید کردند که اگر از خانه بیرون بیایند، کشته خواهند شد.
زینب در پارکینگ همان ساختمان جان خود را از دست داد و پس از آرام شدن هیاهوی خیابان، به بیمارستان منتقل و به سردخانه سپرده شد.
زینب احمدی حامی حیوانات بود و دو سگ داشت. صبح روز بعد، سگ های او از نیامدن زینب نگران شدند و یکی از همسایه ها متوجه شد که زینب برنگشته و تماس گرفت. خانواده اش جستجو را آغاز کردند و یکی از نزدیکان زینب به دوستانش گفت که دختری از میان دوستانش اعلام کرده بود که دیشب در پارکینگ خانه آنها زنی با کاپشن سفید کشته شده است. پس از دیدن عکس زینب، او را شناختند.
زینب احمدی که پس از از دست دادن والدینش به تنهایی زندگی می کرد، چند سال سابقه کار در یک شرکت داشت و به صورت خویش فرما بیمه پرداخت می کرد. یکی از نزدیکانش اعلام کرد که او ۱۷ سال سابقه بیمه داشت که به هیچ دردی نخورد و حتی هزینه کفن و دفن او را پرداخت نکردند.
خانواده زینب احمدی پس از مراجعه به بهشت سکینه در کرج برای یافتن پیکر او، صحنه هایی را مشاهده کردند که ضدانسانی بود. اجساد به صورت نامناسبی در کنار یکدیگر قرار داده شده بودند و مسئولان اعلام کردند که به دلیل حجم بالای اجساد، قادر به ارائه خدمات مناسب نیستند.
خانواده زینب با دل داغدار و چشم گریان او را در میان پیکرها یافتند. پزشکی قانونی در گواهی صادره علت مرگ را اصابت گلوله سلاح گرم به اندام های تحتانی قید کرد. پس از آن، مشکلاتی برای دریافت جواز دفن پیش آمد و هیچ یک از آرامستان ها حاضر به پذیرش او نشدند. در نهایت، آنها مجبور شدند بهشت علی را قبول کنند.
آزار و اذیت ها در این مرحله به پایان نرسید. اجساد به صورت نامناسبی در آمبولانس ها منتقل می شدند و برای برگزاری مراسم عزاداری نیز مشکلاتی وجود داشت. در نهایت، یک حسینیه در ملارد اجازه برگزاری مراسم را داد، اما با شرایط خاصی.
فضای خاکسپاری در بهشت علی در روز ۲۱ دی ۱۴۰۴ امنیتی بود و پلیس در محل مستقر بود. قبرها با فاصله از یکدیگر قرار داشتند تا از تجمع مردم جلوگیری شود و حتی اجازه نصب سنگ قبر نیز داده نشد.
یکی از اعضای نزدیک به خانواده زینب اعلام کرد که پس از خاکسپاری، چندین بار از نهادهای مختلف تماس گرفتند و خواستار مصاحبه شدند، در حالی که در ابتدا اجازه دفن پیکر او را نمی دادند.
سگ های زینب همچنان در انتظار بازگشت او هستند. آنها به گفته نزدیکانش، هرچه داشتند برای خرید غذا برای سگ ها و گربه ها صرف می کردند و در حال حاضر، گربه های محله در انتظار غذا در جلوی در خانه او صف کشیده اند.
