Reports indicate that on the evening of 9 January 2026, Nastaran Abdollahi, an architecture student at Andisheh Azad University, passed away after being injured in the head and forehead during public protests in Shahriar, Andisheh Town. She was transferred to Noor Andisheh Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.
It is reported that the student's family searched for her throughout the night at the hospital, but none of the officials provided any information. Eventually, Nastaran's mother was informed that her body could be collected from Kahrizak. The burial ceremony for the deceased was held at Behesht Rezvan.
