On January 20, 2024, Khaled Pirzadeh, a constitutional civil activist imprisoned in Ward 4 of Evin Prison, was hospitalized at Loghman Hospital in Tehran due to a hunger strike and deteriorating health. Khaled Pirzadeh was recently sentenced by the judge of Branch 26 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court to a total of 5 years and 8 months of imprisonment. His charges included insulting the leadership, insulting sacred beliefs, insulting Ruhollah Khomeini, assembly and collusion to disrupt internal and external security, propaganda against the regime, forming operational and combat groups with the intent to kill, promoting violence, teaching how to make Molotov cocktails, inciting street riots, connections with networks opposing the regime, and waging war against the state.
Additionally, on September 19, 2023, Khaled Pirzadeh was arrested by security forces at Ahvaz Airport and, after several days of uncertainty, was transferred for interrogation and case formation to Tehran and Ward 209 of the Ministry of Intelligence located in Evin Prison. After undergoing interrogation and being charged, he was moved to the labor ward known as Ward 6, formerly Ward 350, and on November 27, 2023, the prosecutor of Branch 3 of the District 33 Court in Tehran charged him.
Previously, on January 25, 2020, this constitutional political activist was sentenced by Branch 28 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court to a total of 23 years and 6 months of imprisonment for charges of assembly and collusion to disrupt national security, insulting the leadership, disobeying officers during duty, illegal exit from the country, and illegal entry into the country. This sentence was upheld on May 19, 2020, by Branch 36 of the Tehran Province Appeals Court, and after the consolidation of offenses, he was required to serve 5 years of imprisonment.
He was first arrested in May 2019 by IRGC intelligence agents in Tehran and transferred to solitary confinement in Ward 2-A of the IRGC located in Evin Prison. After undergoing interrogation and enduring a long period of uncertainty, he was moved to the quarantine ward and then to Ward 4, Hall 4 of Evin Prison. Later, he was transferred to Rajai Shahr Prison in Karaj, then to Greater Tehran Prison with beatings, and subsequently to Sheiban Prison in Ahvaz, Khuzestan Province. On February 11, 2023, after serving part of his total imprisonment, he was released.

به گزارش حقوق بشر در ایران، امروز شنبه ۳۰ دی ماه ۱۴۰۲، خالد پیرزاده، فعال مدنی مشروطه خواه، محبوس در اندرزگاه ۴ زندان اوین، در پی اعتصاب غذا و وخامت وضعیت جسمانی در بیمارستان لقمان تهران، بستری شد. خالد پیرزاده، اخیرا توسط قاضی شعبه ۲۶ دادگاه انقلاب تهران، در مجموع به تحمل ۵ سال و ۸ ماه حبس تعزیری، محکوم شده است.
اتهاماتوی توهین به رهبری ، توهین به مقدسات ، توهین به روح الله خمینی ، اجتماع وتبانی به قصد برهم زدن امنیت داخلی وخارجی ، تبلیغ علیه نظام ، تشکیل گروه های عملیاتی و مبارزاتی به قصد کشتار ، ترویج خشونت ، آموزش ساخت کوکتل مولوتوف ، دعوت به اغتشاشات خیابانی ، ارتباط با شبکه های معاند نظام و محاربه بوده است.
همچنین، خالد پیرزاده، در تاریخ ۲۸ شهریور ماه ۱۴۰۲، توسط ماموران امنیتی در فرودگاه اهواز، بازداشت و پس از تحمل چند روز بلاتکلیفی برای بازجویی و تشکیل پرونده به تهران و بند ۲۰۹ وزارت اطلاعات و واقع در زندان اوین، منتقل شد و پس از طی مراحل بازجویی ها و تفهیم اتهام، به بند کارگری موسوم به اندرزگاه ۶ بند۳۵۰ سابق منتقل و در تاریخ ۶ آذر ماه ۱۴۰۲، توسط بازپرس شعبه ۳ دادسرای ناحیه ۳۳ تهران، تفهیم اتهام شد.
این فعال سیاسی مشروطه خواه، پیشتر هم در تاریخ ۵ بهمن ماه ۱۳۹۸، توسط شعبه ۲۸ دادگاه انقلاب تهران، از بابت اتهامات اجتماع و تبانی به قصد برهم زدن امنیت کشور ، توهین به رهبری ، تمرد از دستور ماموران در حین انجام وظیفه ، خروج غیرقانونی از کشور و ورود غیرقانونی به کشور در مجموع به تحمل ۲۳ سال و ۶ ماه حبس تعزیری محکوم شد و این حکم در تاریخ ۳۰ اردیبهشت ماه ۱۳۹۹، عینا توسط شعبه ۳۶ دادگاه تجدید نظر استان تهران تائید و پس از تجمیع جرائم تحمل ۵ سال حبس تعزیری برای وی لازم به اجرا شده بود.
وی، نخستین مرحله در اردیبهشت ماه ۱۳۹۸، توسط ماموران اطلاعات سپاه در تهران بازداشت و به سلول انفرادی بند امنیتی ۲ الف سپاه واقع در زندان اوین منتقل و پس از طی مراحل بازجوئی و تحمل بلاتکلیفی طولانی مدت به بند قرنطینه و پس از آن به اندرزگاه ۴ سالن ۴ زندان اوین منتقل و چندی بعد به زندان رجائی شهر کرج و سپس توام با ضرب و شتم به زندان تهران بزرگ و سپس به زندان شیبان اهواز در استان خوزستان منتقل شد و در تاریخ ۲۲ بهمن ۱۴۰۱، پس از تحمل بخشی از مجموع حبس تعزیری خود آزاد شده بود.
